獨(dú)立光伏發(fā)電系統(tǒng)是指太陽能光伏發(fā)電不與電網(wǎng)連接的發(fā)電方式，典型特征為需要用蓄電池來存儲能量。獨(dú)立光伏發(fā)電系統(tǒng)主要用于家庭、村級太陽能光伏電站、光伏照明系統(tǒng)、通訊基站、太陽能水泵等；在具備風(fēng)力發(fā)電和小水電的地區(qū)還可以組成混合發(fā)電系統(tǒng)，如風(fēng)力發(fā)電/太陽能發(fā)電互補(bǔ)系統(tǒng)等。

Stand-alone PV systems do not connect to electricity utility and its typical characteristic is to store energy using battery. It is mainly applied in household, small PV power station, PV lighting system, communication base station, solar pump, etc; it can also build up hybrid system with wind and water, like wind power and PV power hybrid system.
