歐盟化妝品新法規(guī)（EC）No 1223/2009規(guī)定了歐盟境內(nèi)銷售的化妝品必須制定一套產(chǎn)品的資料檔案（ProductInformation File，PIF），并隨時供當局查詢。該資料檔案包含產(chǎn)品、生產(chǎn)廠商和責任人的全部信息且須時時更新。

PIF報告主要是審核產(chǎn)品資料是否齊全，CPSR報告以及CPSR包含的資料，是PIF的核心，因此，要做PIF報告，首先得先完成CPSR報告才能做。
