· FCC全稱是Federal Communications Commission，中文為美國聯邦通信委員會。于1934年由COMMUNICATIONACT建立是美國政府的一個獨立機構，直接對國會負責。FCC通過控制無線電廣播、電視、電信、衛(wèi)星和電纜來協(xié)調國內和國際的通信。涉及美國50多個州、哥倫比亞以及美國所屬地區(qū)為確保與生命財產有關的無線電和電線通信產品的安全性，FCC的工程技術部（Office of Engineering and Technology）負責委員會的技術支持，同時負責設備認可方面的事務。許多無線電應用產品、通訊產品和數字產品要進入美國市場，都要求FCC的認可.
